| RASA VI Artist Performance Information

RASA VI - 10 minutes. Solo flute, strings, djembe, and hand percussion.
This programmatic dance work is based on African rhythms and Indian scales. It was commissioned by Indian Bharata Natyam Dancer Sudnya Naik and first performed June 18th, 2005 at the Norman Rothstein Theatre, Vancouver BC. The work represents a love dialogue of misunderstanding between the Earth Goddess Bhudevi and Sky God.
